Oliver L. Hawkins

Oliver L. Hawkins is an associate at Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke LLP.

Mr. Hawkins concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors' rights.

Mr. Hawkins is experienced in both the corporate and litigation aspects of insolvency matters, especially with respect to accountants' liability. Prior to beginning his career in law, he worked as an In-house Management Consultant at American General Corporation and as a Senior Consultant/Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Mr. Hawkins is a Certified Public Accountant and has been a Certified Information Systems Auditor.

Mr. Hawkins earned his undergraduate degree (B.S.) magna cum laude from Jackson State University of Mississippi and his law degree (J.D.) from New York University, where he contributed to the law journal, Review of Law and Social Change.
