Experience:
Paul M. Brown is of counsel to Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke LLP.
Mr. Brown has had more than forty years of experience in almost all aspects of civil litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts. He has tried numerous corporate and commercial lawsuits and arbitrated disputes before the American Arbitration Association, the NASD, the NYSE and under ICC auspices. His experience includes representation of banks, retail stores, trading companies, airlines, broker-dealers, construction companies, hotels, manufacturers, distributors, insurance companies, and foreign companies and individuals. His practice also includes negotiating employment agreements and severance/termination packages for executives and litigating employment disputes.
Mr. Brown is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Commercial Litigation Section), the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the Federal Bar Council.
He is admitted to practice in New York and before the following federal courts: Southern District of New York; Eastern District of New York; Northern District of New York ; Michigan; Rhode Island; Ohio; Washington, D.C.; Pennsylvania; New Jersey; and the United States Court of Appeals (First, Second, Third and Sixth Circuits).
Education:
Mr. Brown attended Williams College and earned his undergraduate degree (B.S./Economics) from University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School), and his law degree (LL.B.) from Columbia University School of Law.
