Experience:
Howard A. Neuman is of counsel to Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke LLP.
Mr. Neuman’s practice is concentrated in corporate and securities law matters, including investment adviser regulation, hedge funds and other investment programs; counseling employers with respect to employment law matters; mergers and acquisitions; commercial lending and other financial transactions; and real estate and environmental matters.
Mr. Neuman heads the firm’s investment advisory practice area, has lectured on soft dollars and other issues affecting money managers, and is the principal author of the firm’s Hedge Fund & Investment Managers Advisory service.
Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, Mr. Neuman is also admitted before the United States District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association and its Sections on Corporation, Banking and Business Law and Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law. He is also a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and its Corporate and Business Law and Environmental Law Sections.
Education:
Mr. Neuman earned his undergraduate degree in economics (B.S.) from the City College of the City of New York and his law degree magna cum laude (J.D.) from Brooklyn Law School.
