Experience:
Robert Carrillo is an associate at Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke LLP where his practice focuses on federal and state securities and intellectual property litigation.
Over the course of his career, he has represented major corporations and investment banks in complex litigation and regulatory matters including trademark opposition and cancellation procedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board as well as arbitration proceedings before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. His federal practice experience includes working on patent, trademark, securities fraud, employment and mass tort cases before the District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Mr. Carrillo is a member of the Bar in New York and admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is also a member of the National Hispanic Bar Association and the Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Education:
Mr. Carrillo received a J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center, and earned his undergraduate degree (B.A.) from the University of California at Berkeley with a double major in English and Political Science.
