Experience:
Mr. Zotos is an associate at Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke where he focuses his practice on business and personal tax planning.
Mr. Zotos has particular experience working with cross-border and expatriation tax issues, forming and advising non-profit organizations, and representing taxpayers before federal and state audit.
Prior to joining the firm Mr. Zotos clerked for the Michigan Tax Tribunal and externed for the Honorable Richard F. Suhrheinrich of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Mr. Zotos is admitted to practice in the States of New York and Illinois, the District of Columbia, and before the United States Tax Court. He is a member of the Sections of Taxation of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Zotos is a member of the New York State Bar Association Committee on the Unlawful Practice of Law, and serves as trustee of the New York Mixed Martial Arts Initiative, a non-profit organization that provides funding for inner city youth and young adults so that they can experience the benefits of MMA training.

Mr. Zotos earned his law degree (J.D.) magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law, and a master of laws (LL.M. in Taxation) from New York University School of Law. Mr. Zotos completed his undergraduate studies (B.A.) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
