He represents privately-held corporations and other entities, and their owners, in stock and asset acquisitions and sales, mergers, joint ventures and other transactions. He also represents lenders and borrowers in various types of financing transactions involving secured and unsecured loans; letters of credit; note purchase transactions; trade and project financings; loan syndications; and loan portfolio purchases and sales; and he assists domestic and foreign banks in Federal and state bank regulatory matters including organization, licensing, non-banking activities and other issues. Admitted to practice in New York State, Mr. Jackson is a member of the American Bar Association's Section on Corporation, Banking and Business Law. Born in Glen Cove, New York, Mr. Jackson earned his undergraduate degree (A.B.) from Harvard University and his law degree (J.D.) from George Washington University.
