He is experienced in assisting individuals with all aspects of their estate and personal planning needs including inter vivos charitable and family gifting, real estate, Will preparation and retirement planning. Mr. Powers advises corporations with respect to ERISA compliance, the establishment and maintenance of qualified benefit plans and the compensation of executives by non-qualified benefit plans. Admitted to practice in New York State and Florida and before the United States Tax Court, Mr. Powers is a member of New York State Bar Association's Sections on Trusts and Estates and Taxation and the American Bar Association's Sections on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and Taxation. He is also active in the Florida Bar Association, where he is a member of its Sections on Real Property, Probate and Trusts Law and Tax.
