Joshua M. RubinsJoshua M. Rubins is a partner of Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke LLP. Mr. Rubins handles both transactions and litigation involving intellectual property. In addition to his experience as an attorney, Mr. Rubins was formerly editor and publisher of Kirkus Reviews and Vice President and Treasurer of the National Book Critics' Circle. He has an extensive background as a professional writer and journalist. Mr. Rubins is admitted to practice in New York State and before the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. Mr. Rubins is the author of a recent publication for the American Bar Association on Docudramas and the Law and co-author of Emerging Publication Torts (PLI Libel Litigation 1994 Course Handbook). Mr. Rubins earned both his undergraduate degree (A.B.) and his law degree (J.D.) from Harvard University. While at Harvard Law School, his paper on the copyrightability of titles received the Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition Award.
