Kenneth A. Schultz




Kenneth A. Schultz is a partner of Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke LLP.

Mr. Schultz represents clients in matters dealing with entry to the United States and the acquisition and loss of U.S. citizenship and lawful permanent residence (the "green card"). He is routinely engaged by American and multinational companies in securing nonimmigrant (temporary) working visas and green cards for employees and their families. Prior to his practice in immigration law, Mr. Schultz served as an Assistant District Attorney.

Mr. Schultz is admitted to practice in New York and before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York. He is a member of the International Law and Practice Section of the New York State Bar Association and is Chair of the Committee on Immigration and Nationality. Mr. Schultz is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and served as Chair of the New York Chapter.

Mr. Schultz has lectured on immigration law before such organizations as the World Trade Institute and the Practising Law Institute, and bar associations, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. His writings have been published by the American Immigration Lawyers Association on various business related topics including the immigration provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement and nonimmigrant visa classifications. He is also a contributor to Eighteen Chapters on American Law, Evergreen Publishing 1992, translated into Mandarin Chinese.

Mr. Schultz has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White) and is also included in Who's Who in American Law.

Mr. Schultz earned his undergraduate degree (B.A.) from the University of Michigan Honors College and his law degree (J.D.) from Union University, Albany Law School.
