Robert C. Carrillo

Robert C. Carrillo is of Counsel to Satterlee Stephens LLP.  Mr. Carrillo advises clients on all areas of dispute resolution, whether involving litigation, arbitration, mediation, or proceedings before administrative or regulatory bodies. An experienced litigator, Mr. Carrillo's areas of focus include both intellectual property litigation (trademark, trade dress, copyright, patent, and anti-piracy litigation), and complex commercial litigation (whether involving unfair competition, employment law, real estate and construction litigation, mass tort, or complex trusts and estates).  Mr. Carrillo also advises clients on complex GDPR and personal information privacy and compliance issues.

While he regularly practices before numerous federal courts and international tribunals, he is equally adept at navigating clients through New York State courts, whether in New York City, or Nassau, Suffolk, or Westchester Counties. Mr. Carrillo has successfully represented corporations, individuals and estates in jury trials, bench trials, FINRA and AAA arbitrations, as well as administrative proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Carrillo completed his undergraduate studies as a National Hispanic Scholarship Fund scholar at the University of California at Berkeley, where he studied English and Political Science.  He graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C. in 2003 after successfully completing internships with the Washington D.C.
